VIVA MEXICOOOOO!

Brad and I went on a 3 day cruise to Ensenada, Mexico this past weekend with about 80 people from his church (mostly the people who run their Oktoberfest). We left out of the port of San Diego. Our weather was PERFECT! This was our first cruise and we weren't sure what to expect. We had a blast! The ship departed around 5pm and we had dinner at 6pm. After dinner we went to the karaoke bar and hung out.

Saturday morning Brad and I woke up and went to the gym on the ship for an hour and half. We showered and met up with the rest of the group for a "fun day at sea." They had a bunch of events on the ship and one event was "master mixologist." A guy from our group was a contestant and his drink won! Murph's Magical Margarita. Since he won the contest his drink was the featured drink of the weekend. Saturday night was formal night and an hour before dinner our group had cocktail hour with free drinks for the entire hour.

Sunday we woke up at the port in Ensenada and spent the afternoon in Ensenada. We went to a restaurant called "La Corrolito." We ordered 3 buckets of beer (10 beers in each bucket) and Brad, myself, and a friend Megan shared the buckets. Ensenada was a blast and got back on the boat around 5:30. We were exhausted our last night and just relaxed. Got up early and packed and got off the boat around 10am. We had the time of our lives! We will definitely be going on the same cruise next year with the same group!

VIVA MEXICOOOO!

Week in Havasu for New Years

Brad and I left 2 days after Christmas for a week long vacation in Havasu. We did some shopping and a lot of relaxing. We saw "It's Complicated" and just hung out with Brooke, Charlie, and Brad's parents. Brooke and Charlie left middle of the week. We had a bon fire a couple nights. Brad took his dirt bike out a few times for a ride and one of the mornings he took it out he had to lay it down on the asphalt on his way back. He got a terrible battle wound :( looked worse in person than it does in the picture.

New Years Eve we weren't sure what we were thinking of doing so Brad, his parents, and myself drove about an hour to Laughlin and we went to a Casino for dinner and some gambling. They said there would be a ball drop and I thought it would be some extravagant ball dropping but it was just bags of balloons falling from the ceiling. hahaha. It wasn't my favorite place to be due to the cigarette smoke, and drunk old people! Dinner was terrible and Brad and I don't really like to gamble. It was a good time overall just spending NYE with Brad :)

Christmas Eve, Christmas Day/Night

Every Christmas Eve we go to my Grandparents house for dinner. I made a homemade lasagna, salad, and bread for the family. Brad came with us and hung out for a little, we exchanged gifts and then he had to leave to go home for dinner with his family. We just relaxed for a little and left early to get some sleep.

Christmas morning my Grandparents came over around 9am. We opened presents, took a break for brunch, and finished presents after brunch. We hung out all day, and around 4pm I went to Brad's house to spend time with his entire Dad's side of the family.

The day after Christmas is my Grandpa's birthday, my aunt, uncle, cousin, and Grandparents came over for dinner. We celebrated my Grandparents birthday with the family and watched the USC game.
